The New Normal FBC PLANS TO RESUME IN-PERSON WORSHIP ON APRIL 4
Based upon closely following positive data trends in NC, the Triad and Alamance County, your FBC New Normal Team recommends re-gathering for in-person worship on Sunday, April 4 (Easter Sunday for both the 9 and 11 am services. This does NOT include Sunday School at this time.
It is very important to note that the church’s guidance document must be followed in order to hold these in-person worship services which will include persons properly wearing face masks while in the church building, maintaining a minimum distance of 6’ apart from one another and other measures. The team is currently updating the guidance document to produce a version 2.0 protocol, which will be issued well in advance of our re-gathering. All church members should review these requirements if they choose to attend. It should also be emphasized that the decision to attend in-person is a personal decision and is fully optional. FBC will continue to provide wonderful electronic worship opportunities available for persons who do not yet feel comfortable being in the in-person worship environment. Also, we must note that if the data trends turn to a negative spiral, we will be need to re-evaluate our in-person situation.
Thank you for your cooperation and support through these unprecedented times.
